Matt Walker
Elder | Senior Pastor
During his childhood years in northern Indiana, God opened Matt’s spiritually blind eyes and led him to repent of his sin and believe in Jesus who is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6) After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Matt thought he was heading for an engineering career but God had other plans for his life. While serving as a campus pastor intern for a local church in Lafayette and traveling to England on two separate mission trips God changed Matt's heart from pursuing engineering to vocational Christian ministry. In 2005 he graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology degree and has since served as adjunct faculty at a Bible college and as both an associate and senior pastor of churches in Texas, Iowa, and Indiana.
In 2009 Matt answered God’s call to become the senior pastor of GCC. He and his wife, Anna, have been married since 2002 and have a son named Grant and a daughter named Grace. Matt's passion in ministry is to reach the surrounding community and the ends of the earth with the Gospel of Jesus. He is a dynamic teacher and communicator of God's Word who strives to equip believers and train other pastors/leaders so that they may, in turn, teach others to be rooted and built up in Him. (Colossians 2:7) Matt enjoys spending time with his family, and reading about early church reformers like Zwingli, Calvin and Knox - and he can usually be found building something outdoors.

Kevin McClure
Elder | Associate Pastor of Discipleship
Kevin grew up in Southern California near Thousand Oaks, a place where sprawling Oak trees enjoy the fact that it’s always summer and never winter. God interrupted Kevin's life in his boyhood years by moving his heart to believe the good news of Jesus Christ spoken from his mother’s lips. At a young age, Kevin realized that he was not a good person, and that he needed Jesus Christ to forgive him of his many sins by dying on the cross in his place and resurrecting on the third day. Kevin’s seed understanding of God’s holiness, human sinfulness, Jesus’ substitutionary death, the role of the Holy Spirit, and repentance from sin would only flower to fuller bloom in the ensuing years.
After high school Kevin transferred to Wheaton College in the Midwest during the midwinter, and after getting a Bible degree he flew to Bethlehem Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. It was in seminary that he successfully wooed and wed a beautiful blond-haired and blue-eyed Minnesotan gal, Kristy. They have three children whose curiosity and energy seemingly increase every year—to the great sanctification (and joy) of their parents.
While finishing up two seminary degrees, Kevin was a pastoral intern at Jubilee Community Church (Minneapolis, MN) and Capitol Hill Baptist Church (Washington, D.C.). Kevin is passionate about discipleship, ecclesiology, the Bible, and expositional preaching. When he’s not spending time with his beloved wife and children, he can be found spending time with people, reading, playing any-sport-but-golf, or promoting Indianapolis Theological Seminary and the Charles Simeon Trust. His favorite verse in the Bible is Romans 8:28, but 2 Timothy 2:2 and Ephesians 4:12 are runner-ups.
