2015 Christmas Offering

Each year around Christmas GCC provides special giving opportunities to support specific gospel ministry work around the globe beyond our normal tithes and offerings.  Our Christmas offering focus for 2015 was purchasing Bibles for the 13 Ugandan pastors (and their churches) we support.  Some of them do not even own a Bible in their native tongue!  Between the 13 pastors we support there are 6 native languages represented: Luganda, Runyoro-Rutoro, Runyakore-Rukiiga, Bari, Lusoga, and Acholi.  The Bibles for each language range from $8-$20 each.  Our goal is was purchase at least 40 Bibles for each pastor to distribute among their churches (following criteria we provide them). This meant we needed to raise around $6,000 (including delivery costs). By God's grace, we were able to raise significantly more than that, allowing us to give the pastors additional Bibles and Bible study resources.
