1 Corinthians 15:12-28 - The Resurrection of the Body

Discussion Questions:

  1. How would the life of someone who believes in the resurrection look different from the life of someone who does not believe in the resurrection?  What are some ways that your belief in the resurrection has changed (or should change) the way you life your life?

  2. Do those who do not believe in Jesus look at your life and effort for Christ’s sake and pity you for how much you are giving yourself to something they think is untrue?  How does your answer reveal what may or may not need to change in your life (see question #1)?

  3. Some think that all of the benefits of heaven are guaranteed to Christians in this life. What verses in our passage teach otherwise, and why?

  4. What message were Paul and the apostles preaching that was different from every other religion?  What are you doing to help people see Christ as resurrected? (i.e. the words you use, your faithfulness to the Scriptures, etc.)
